I was called into a hotel in York where the owner had installed network cabling into the ceiling spaces above new rooms that had been built. He had also purchased Ubiquiti Unifi Wireless Access Points and needed everything connecting together. This was simply a matter of identifying cables and then terminating them suitably and testing to ensure continuity on all of the cables. Then I had to ensure that everything worked by making suitable connections and using my experience of other similar systems.
The customer sourced a patch panel to terminate all the network cables onto and I terminated it suitably and tested all of the terminations on the patch panel.
I then had to mount it with all the other equipment, connect it all together, test it so that it worked and make it look neat, which I think I achieved.
